Mr. Kola Adefila (Chairman)
Mr. Kola Adefila is 59 and is a Real Estate professional with over 30 years active experience in the Nigerian real estate space. He is a graduate of Estate Management from the prestigious University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University).
Mr. Kola Adefila is the Principal Partner for Adefila & Partners, a position he has held from 1983 till date. He is currently a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Estate Surveryors and Valuers’, Member of the International Real Estate federation (FIABCI) with Headquarters in Paris, Member of the International facilities Management Association, and also member of the Institute of Directors.
He has held several positions within these organizations, and also has several publications on “Problems of Compulsory Acquisition of Land and Compensation” and “Effect of management on Property Values and Inherent Problems.
As Chairman (Board of Directors) Land of Honey Abuja Development Company, Mr. Adefila brings on board his vast experience as a real estate professional, principal, and also as an investor.
Mr. Richard Kingston
Richard is 49 and was born in the United Kingdom, where he lived until he moved to work overseas. Richard took his Bachelor’s Degree at Loughborough University and a Post Graduate Diploma at the University of London. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a member of the British Institute of Facilities Managers.
Richard has worked as a consultant in the private sector and for real estate and development companies. He has worked as a Partner at Workman & Partners, MD for Cyril Sweett International Limited, responsible for the Middle East, Africa and India and is currently running his own business based within the Middle East and Africa and has set up and successfully run a number of businesses.
Having worked as developer, consultant and facilities manager, Richard has a deep understanding of the importance of efficient design, good financial management, planning and risk management and how this can be harnessed to maximise investment return and minimise capital risk.
Dr. Andrew Warri
Dr. Andrew .F. Warri is the managing director/CEO of A.M Project Consultancy ltd. He also holds executive directorship positions in Health and mission international, Mipet services limited and First global microfinance ltd. He is a medical doctor (MBBS) and a graduate of the London Business School.
In the course of service to humanity, Dr. Warri has received numerous awards including, JCI award for medical innovation, Rotary club of Port-Harcourt humanitarian service award, Eagles entrepreneur award for impact in health care & community development and certificate of appreciation for dedicated service presented at the Houston chapter of the Nto Annang foundation, USA.
Dr. Abdu Mukthar
Dr. Abdu Mukthar, the incumbent Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Abuja Investments Company Limited, has acquired over 20 years of extensive professional experience in both private and public sectors, having served in the following capacities: Research Associate, Boston University Medical Centre for International Development, Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A; Associate Consultant PRTM Consulting, Boston. Mss, U.S.A; Transaction Adviser/Special Assistant to the Director General, Bureau of Public Enterprises, Abuja – FCT, Nigeria, and Senior Special Assistant to the Minister on Economic Matters, Federal Capital Territory Administration, Abuja.
Dr. Abdu Mukhtar holds membership in many professional and exclusive organisations. As MD/CEO Dr. Mukthar is an active member of the Board of Directors, Abuja Investments Company Limited. Dr. Mukthar also serves as Chairman of the following organisations, Board of Directors of Aso Savings & Loans Plc, Abuja Urban Mass Transport Company, Abuja Markets Management Limited, Abuja Film Village Ltd, Abuja Connect Ltd, Abuja Technology Village and Abuja Automotive Village, all which are subsidiaries of Abuja Investments Company Limited except Aso Savings & Loans Plc a company in which AICL has substantial stock. he is also a member of the Abuja Leasing Company Limited, LEAP Africa and the Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE) Global Advisory Board.
Dr. Abdu is a Medical Doctor by background, and also earned a dual doctorate degree in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine with dual Minors in Immunology and Molecular Biology from Boston University School of Medicine. He also holds an MBA (Master in Business Administration) from the prestigious Harvard Business School in 2001. He has also attended significant courses in Kennedy School of Government – Harvard University, U.S.A; the Said Business School – Oxford University, UK; and the African Leadership Institute, Cape Town, South-Africa.
Mr. Segun Oyekunle
SEGUN OYEKUNLE was the President and CEO of Arufa Productions, a film production company, based in Los Angeles, California before he was called to establish the Abuja Film Village International [AFVI] Ltd towards the end of 2007. A Nigerian film-maker, writer, director, and published playwright, and a Consultant in the United States on African filmmaking, who has lived, schooled and worked in Hollywood for over 28 years and has a vast array of contacts in the industry, Oyekunle studied Theater Arts at Ahmadu Bello University, [ABU], Zaria, and did his post graduate studies in Film Production at the UCLA School of Film, TV and Theater, University of California, Los Angeles.
Oyekunle has received several honors for his talent and devotion to African culture in the Diaspora. Besides the Goldwyn and Kurnitz awards for his literary excellence, Oyekunle was honored with the CERTIFICATE OF APPRECIATION by the City of Los Angeles for his contribution to the inter-cultural activities in the City of Los Angeles. He also received the CITATION OF APPRECIATION for meritorious service to the international community at UCLA. Oyekunle was also the Community Liaison for the La Vida Foundation in Los Angeles.
Oyekunle as the MD and CEO of the Abuja Film Village International [AFVI] Ltd, he has the mandate to make “City of Abuja the world center of film and entertainment excellence”. The partnership with Kohath Investment Group in LAND OF HONEY is a Component in achieving that goal. In accepting the challenge, Segun abandoned Hollywood for Nollywood, bringing his twenty-year sojourn and experience in America and around the world to bear. A highly spiritual individual, Segun believes his appointment is a God-given opportunity to make a difference in the Nigerian film industry, the industry that has been his focus all his adult life.
Mr. Adeoye Oshowole
He is a dynamic business consultant and solution architect specializing in Supply Chain Management. Over the past years he has maintained a track record of successful consulting assignments in several industry sectors for multi-nationals both in the UK and Internationally. Mr. Oshowole is a member of the Institute of Business Consulting in the UK.
He brings to Land of Honey, his wealth of experience gained from consulting on Supply Chain Management and IT Transformation programs for global clients such as HP, Enron, Cable & Wireless, Vodafone, Kraft Foods, Diageo, Barclays Group, Capita Group, GSK BG Group, Bedfordshire, Southwark and Enfield County Councils.
Mr. Teniola Eleoramo (Project Development Director/CEO)
He currently serves as the Executive Chairman of the Kohath Property Development Company (a member of KIG). Prior to this position, he has been a Strategy and Business Consultant for notable Oil and Gas, manufacturing and financial services companies. He is an Alumnus of the London Business School, and also has a wide range of experience in corporate finance, strategy and Real Estate Development. During his business consulting years, he had extensive experience in Project Management, Team Leadership.
