Abuja Film Village International

Abuja Film Village International Ltd is a Public Private Partnership [PPP] initiative of the Federal Capital Territory Administration [FCTA], envisioned to make Abuja [the seat of power] and by extension, Nigeria a one stop shop for entertainment and film making. AFVI Ltd aims to raise the professional know-how of the Nigerian film industry in all its ramifications through its function as a production company. It similarly seeks to improve on the film industry’s capacity to earn more at home and foreign exchange from abroad. AFVI Ltd believes with all conviction that harnessing the untapped talent–bank which abounds in Nigeria and its local capacity, filmmaking in Nigeria will be taken to greater heights with Nigeria taking a place of pride among top filmmaking nations. By becoming the beehive of film and entertainment activities from all over the world, as well as the premier Holiday Resort in the African sub-region, AFVI Ltd will quickly enhance the image of Nigeria, create job opportunities for the citizens, and encourage business in all other areas of the 20-2020 vision.
