The authorities of the Federal Capital Territory and the management of Kohath Property Development Company (KPDC) have signed the deed of sub-lease agreement for the location of the Land of Honey (LOH) Abuja covering an expanse of 1,767 hectares. The FCT minister, Honourable Bala Mohammed; the honourable minister of state Federal Capital Territory Abuja, Navy Captain Omoniyi Olubolade; the Managing Director AFVI, Mr. Segun Oyekunle; Executive Chairman/CEO KPDC, Mr. Teniola Eleoramo; and celebrities of Hollywood and Nollywood were all in attendance to grace the occasion. A Joint Venture agreement with the Power of Attorney was also signed that afternoon on the 14th of December 2010. The signing of the documents signified the start of a favourable atmosphere between the two bodies and all stakeholders.
The flag-off ceremony of the Land of Honey Abuja city development took place on the 14th of December 2010. The colourful event took place at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja with Dignitaries in the financial services, construction, real estate developers and the movie industry in attendance. The cocktail event saw eloquent speeches from representatives of the SPV operators; Abuja Films Village International (AFVI), Mr. Segun Oyekunle; Kohath Property Development Company (KPDC), Mr. Teniola Eleoramo; exposing their audience to the vision of the Land Of Honey Abuja City Development. Management Partners from Cyril Sweet and Technical partners were ably represented at the event. They spoke on their confidence and excitement to be a part of the largest private real estate development project in the country. The event paraded stars from Hollywood and Nollywood. Some of them included Akosua Busia, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, Geneivive Nnaji, MBGN 2010 Fiona Amuzie and a lot more.
